Does the assistant give diagnoses or medical advice?

No. It doesn't diagnose, doesn't interpret symptoms or test results, and doesn't recommend treatment. In an emergency, it tells the patient to seek care right away. It handles scheduling and the information your clinic approved.

How does booking work?

You set up the appointment types, the professionals and each one's week, with days off and special hours. The assistant only offers times that are free on the calendar of whoever performs it. You choose whether the time is confirmed right away or becomes a request reception confirms in one click — and the patient gets the right notice either way.

Does it work with the professionals' Google Calendar?

Yes. Each professional can connect their own Google Calendar through a link, with no Concierge login. We read free/busy only — never the title, location or guests of their events.

Where does medical record data live?

Accepted Answer

In your clinic's encrypted vault (AES-256-GCM at rest), open only to people with record access. The assistant that talks to patients doesn't read it. It is not end-to-end encryption: the server decrypts when an authorized professional opens the record.

Does it work on the clinic's WhatsApp?

Yes, from the Growth plan, including more than one number. When someone on the team replies from their phone, the assistant steps out of the conversation.

What about voice notes?

Do I have to replace my practice software?

Not necessarily. Many clinics use Concierge for patient conversations and scheduling, and Concierge's medical record is optional. It doesn't integrate with third-party record systems yet.

What about LGPD (Brazil's data protection law)?

Health data is sensitive data under LGPD. Concierge keeps patient conversations apart from the medical record, encrypts clinical entries and limits access by permission. As the data controller, the clinic decides who accesses what and the legal bases for processing.
